Frequently asked questions.
Everything you might want to know before you come in.
Let's clear things up.
How do I know which facial to choose?
Happy Skin Facial is a good starting point if you're new to facials. For specific concerns, reach out so we can help you select a treatment.
What's the difference between IPL and laser?
IPL uses a broad range of light wavelengths, while lasers use more specific wavelengths. Different technologies address different concerns. Learn about our Rohrer Spectrum.
Will I need more than one laser treatment?
Many concerns, including unwanted hair and tattoos, require a series of treatments. The number of sessions and results vary from person to person.
Is there downtime after a treatment?
It depends on the service. Some facials have little downtime; resurfacing and some laser treatments can involve redness, swelling, peeling or recovery time. We'll explain expectations before treatment.
Can I book a chemical peel as my first visit?
Peel & Reveal requires an initial facial to establish your skin history before proceeding.
Should I avoid tanning before laser or IPL?
Recent tanning and sun exposure can increase treatment risks. Let us know about any recent sun exposure, self-tanner, or changes in your skin. We'll give specific instructions for your treatment.
What if I take medications or use active skincare?
Please tell us about medications and products such as retinoids or exfoliating acids. Certain treatments may need to be postponed or adjusted; don't stop prescribed medication without your clinician's advice.
Do I need to pay a deposit to book?
No deposit or credit card is required for online booking when it launches.
